A Lifelong Passion & Academic Foundation in Communication
Communication and presenting have always been my strength. From mediating debates and starring in school plays to building client relationships and presenting to senior board members in Dubai, I’ve consistently thrived in roles that involve connecting with and engaging others.
My Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Information Design from the University of Westminster in London centred on how to utilise the principles of design and communication within social contexts to achieve desired outcomes and enrich lives. I moved to Dubai in 2007 and began my career in marketing.
Global Corporate Marketing Career
Over the next 11 years, I advanced to senior management roles spanning marketing operations, business development, and public relations. While living and working in the Middle East and Africa, I led local, regional, and global strategies. Presenting, networking, leading teams, and negotiating were key aspects of my roles, allowing me to further refine my communication and interpersonal skills.
I once considered myself “lucky” to secure the roles I was genuinely passionate about. However, I later realised that I had actively created my own luck with every opportunity I pursued. A confident, positive, and persistent attitude, along with the ability to build rapport with interviewers, proved to be a winning combination — far more impactful than simply having the right skills. For instance, I was hired for one role despite not fully meeting the job requirements by effectively showcasing my strengths and unique value. In another case, a company created a more senior position to align with my skillset, recognising my potential and wanting me on board.
From Corporate to Freelance: Helping Small Businesses
In 2018, I left the corporate world, moved to Thailand, and began freelancing as a marketing consultant and copywriter. Since then, I’ve supported UK- and Europe-based SMEs with integrative branding, sales, and communication strategies, continuing to work with key clients to this day.
Becoming an Interview & Communication Coach: Helping Individuals
Helping businesses connect with their target audiences eventually inspired a new path — coaching individuals to master communication and achieve their goals.
I began with English language tutoring for non-native speakers, helping them improve verbal and written skills. However, due to my international corporate, multicultural, and academic background, my services quickly expanded to native and non-native professionals seeking coaching in:

- Networking and small-talk skills
- Proofreading and editing academic papers
